About Foot Pedals

USB foot pedals work just like those that come with dictaphones. They can be used to control many different software applications, including Transcriva.

Pedal Support for Transcriva

Many foot pedal manufacturers provide "control software" that allows a foot pedal to control any application by sending keyboard shortcuts directly to the application when a pedal is pressed. Any such foot pedal will work with Transcriva, provided the manufacturer or a third party provides control software for Mac OS X. You will need to consult with the manufacturer to verify whether Mac OS X is supported.
